     Gertrude Florence Barrick died 31 December 1938. She was born 4
     November 1857, daughter of F. S. McCabe and Linda A. Martin and
     great-grand-daughter of Presley Martin. Her mother died 25 July
     1898 age 84. She was the wife of Charles Wesley Barrick and they
     were married 20 April 1884 in New Martinsville by C. W. Reynolds.
     They had nine children: John Raul Barrick of New Martinsville; 
     W. D. Barrick of Sistersville; Mrs. George Hastie of Pittsburgh;
     Mrs. L. G. Henault of Steubensville, Oh; Mrs. Cleon Gicquelais of
     Pittsburgh; Mrs. S. W. Westerman of New Martinsville. She was
     preceded in death by sons: Grover; and Brooks Barrick.
