HAWKINS, Manager of the W. Va. Monumental Works. The West Virginia Monumental Works is situated at New Martinsville and is one of the largest concerns of its kind in the State. They work all kinds of marble and granite, having a steam power apparatus for polishing their work, both granite and marble. Twelve men are constantly employed at the works. C. W. Beck is foreman. The workmen are: Cutters. Holly Sayre, Roy Corbet, James McClain, James Debolt, Harry Hawkins and George Huff. Other workmen are Turner Wells, Quincy Moore, Earl Mclntire. Frank Tarter and C. M. Mathes. J. A.
