RICE, JOTHAM, Upshur County, W. Va., 19 Nov. 1870; 20 Sept. 1875. 

Sons MARTIN M. and LEWIS RICE, daus. SARAH ANN and 
MARGARET CATHARINE RICE. Martin M. Rice, ex. 

Testator desires pmt. of debts and funeral expenses; be- 
queaths to son LEWIS RICE, all of home place except a certain 
boundary adjoining John Teter's land, also 100 a. on Flat Run; 
to son MARTIN M., 200 a. adjoining sd. Lewis' 100 a. bequest; 
to dau. SARAH ANN RICE, 1/2 of 375 a. tract of land, but if she 
dies without issue, sd. tract to sd. Lewis Rice; to dau. MARGARET 
CATHARINE RICE, remaining 1/2 of sd. tract, sd. Margaret to live 
with sd. Lewis who is to inherit if she dies without issue; in 
event of sd. Margaret's marriage, Lewis is to pay her $200; if 
sd. Margaret prefers to live with sd. Martin, then he is to in- 
herit; all remaining realty and personalty to son MARTIN RICE.
