Wife ELIZABETH W., sons JOHN HENRY, JAMES P., OSCAR P., 
GEORGE N., THEOPHILUS F., and BUSHROD B. HODGES; daus. SARAH 
JANE [KIDD], LUCY C. SHACKLEFORD, MARTHA E. [C0RDER], MILDRED 
S., and MALINDA A. HODGES. Elizabeth W. Hodges, ex. 

Testator desires pmt. of debts and funeral expenses from 
sale of personalty; bequeaths to wife ELIZABETH W. HODGES, 1 
horse, 2 cows, household and kitchen furniture and home farm 
for life use; sd. Elizabeth, with consent of 2/3 of children 
of legal age may sell sd. realty and retain proceeds thereof 
for her use; any other property to be distributed as follows: 
to son JOHN HENRY HODGES, $200 in addition to prior gift of 
$100; to dau. SARAH JANE [KIDD], $200 in addition to prior 
gift of $100; to dau. LUCY C. SHACKLEFORD, $200 in addition to 
prior gift of $100; to son JAMES F. HODGES, $200 in addition 
to prior gift of $100; to son OSCAR F. HODGES, $300 when he 
reaches 21 yrs.; to dau. MARTHA E. HODGES, $300 and interest 
thereon from the time she was 21 until pd.; upon death of sd. 
Elizabeth all property remaining in her hands to be sold and 
the proceeds therefrom equally divided among all children; to 
children MILDRED S. HODGES, GEORGE N. HODGES, THEOPHILUS F. 
HODGES, MALINDA A. HODGES, and BUSHROD B. HODGES, $300 each 
when they reach the age of 21; to the PROTESTANT METHODIST 
CHURCH "or any other church selected by Elizabeth Hodges" $100 
to be used in "building a place of public worship in the neigh- 
borhood in which she may reside providing a similar amount has 
not been given by the testator during his life"; if, after 
afsd. bequests are pd., any money or bonds remain then sd. 
ELIZABETH is to receive $1,000 in money or bonds.

Rescinds provision in will giving $300 each to Sarah Jane 
Kidd, John Henry Hodges, Lucy Shackleford, Martha E. Corder, 
and Oscar F. Hodges, testator having already given to John 
Henry, Sarah Jane, Lucy and Martha E., $400 each and to Oscar 
F., and James P., $200; bequeaths to OSCAR F., furniture val- 
ued at $100; to JAMES F., $lOO and furniture valued at $100; 
to children not yet of legal age, $100 each in addition to be- 
quests provided in will; to wife ELIZABETH, all remaining 
personalty.
