BROWNING, WILLIAM H., Upshur County, Va., 17 March 1856; April term, 1856. 

Wife MARY, children SARAH JANE, JULERATTA, JOHN WESLEY, MARY SUSAN,
GREENBEERY FULTON, JAMES HOPKINS. Wife, Mary, ex.

Testator bequeaths to wife MARY, choice of 2 negroes, homestead to use
as she pleases; after death of sd. Mary property to be sold and
divided equally among children SARAH JANE, JULERATTA, JOHN WESLEY,
MARY SUSAN, GREENBERRY FULTON, and JAMES HOPKINS; remainder of
personalty to be sold and used for pmt. of debts; any residue of afsd.
sale to be used for care and education of children; executrix to give
deed to James Matheny for moiety for which he holds testator's title
bond "with all the purchase money paid on it."
