Goff; is of German descent; is a practical surveyor, and was County Surveyor 10 years; owns 206 acres of land, and has 60 under improvement, 5 miles west from St. George; was County Commissioner one year. Capt. Hall took him prisoner and held him five weeks during the war; settled in Licking District in 1855, and killed four bears in one day.
