Andy Felock, Henderson Mine, was working in No. 5 room, 17th right heading. Draw slate was all down. Had cleaned his room nicely, and was in the act of loading his car when a roll of slate dropped on him, causing death in about three and one-half hours afterwards. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Oreb, Andy (Slavish; age 19; Single; $75.00 Insurance) December 17, 1906. Andy Oreb, Glendale Shaft Mine, had just fired a shot and commenced loading the coal before taking down the stone that had been made loose by the shot, when the stone fell on him. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Nimic, John (Slavish, age 50; Married) January 24, 1907, died January 26, 1907. John Nimic, Hitchman Mine, was coming out of the mine after the day's work was finished. Instead of going by the man-way, attempted to come up the empty track and was caught by a trip of empty cars. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rednack, Michael (Polish; age 35; Married; 3 Children) February 1, 1907. Michael Rednack, Glendale Shaft Mine, was just finishing last car. Had neglected to remove piece of stone which was hanging on side of his room. As he stepped under for a shovel of coal it let go, falling on him. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ushman, Oliver (American; many years exper; age 51; Married; 2 Children) May 13, 1907.
