First, I desire that after my debts are paid that all my children should share alike and have an equal interest in my estate that shall be left. Secondly, I desire that if it is necessary to sell any of my land to pay my debts tht a number of acres sufficient to pay my debts shall be sold to commence on Brumages line north of my present wheat field and ???ing north of my coal bank to my brother Marcus W. Haymonds line on the ridge but I desire if my brother Johnathan H. Haymond (who is my principal creditor) together with brother Marcus W. Haymond will that they shall settle and pay all my debts (as I am informed they are willing to do) and wait for the money until my two sons Thomas and William becomes of age and then make such arrangements with my said sons for the payment of the money as to them may seem right, so as to secure for them and my family all my lands and if they then connot make such arrangement satisfactory to themselves that the above described part of my land shall be sold to pay the full of amount of the money which I owe Jonathan H. Haymond and the smount that they shall pay in setling and paying off my debts. My personal property I wish kept for the use and benefit of my family in assisting in raising and educating my children. And for the purpose of selling my land when it shall required by Johnathan H. Haymond and Marcus W. Haymond or my other creditors I hereby appoint my nephew Alphaeus F. Haymond to sell the said land before described, and I authorize and empower him to sell and make title to the purchasor and I also authorize the said Alphaeus F. Haymond to convey a small piece of land that I sold to my brother Marcus W. Haymond for which I give him a title bond. "Teste O. Haymond" Hugh W. Johnson Augustus M. Boggess "Virginia to wit: At a Circuit Court held for the county of Marion at the Courthouse on the 6th day of May 1853. The will of Octavius Haymond deceased whose mansion house is in this county was this day proven by the oaths of Hugh W. Johnson and Augustus M.
