First I desire that I shall have a decent burial and that out of my personal estate Fifty dollars shall be applied to the pulling up suitable tomb- stones or monuments to the grave of myself and my deceased wife, and ten dollars to be applied to the burial ground and fencing of same. Next I desire that my daughter Dora Brumage shall have all my household goods except one bed for my son Bruce which he is to have. I also desire that Dora Brumage shall have one last spring mare colt now on my farm, and one of the milk cows. I also desire that Bruce Brumage shall have one two-year old horse colt now on the farm and also one milk cow. Of the residue of my personal estate I desire that John W. Brumage shall have the same including the property as well as any claims due or owing to me including the land notes due from him to me and that he shall pay off all my legal debts and pay to my other children the sums hereinafter named to wit: to pay my daughter Martha E. Price Six hundred dollars, to pay fifty dollars in one year after my death and fifty dollars annually thereafter until paid, without interest until done. To pay my grandson James Wilson son of my daugh- ter Emma, one hundred dollars when he arrives at the age of twenty one years. Should he not live to that age then I desire that his burial expenses be paid by said John W. Brumage and the residue of said one hundred dollars be divided equally among my children. I have this day executed to my daughter Matilda Fox a deed for thirty one acres of land on Campbell’s Run known as the Hawkins land in which I gave her six hundred dollars as her full share of my estate. The six hun- dred dollars herein provided for is to be the full share of my daughter Martha E. Price, the one hundred dol- lars herein named is to the full share of James Wilson as the heir of my deceased daughter Emma Wilson. Of my real estate I desire that my daughter Dora shall have that portion of the land lying on the west side or left hand side of the road going up the main run from Campbells to Shultz and that my two sons Enos Brum- age and Bruce Brumage shall have the land lying on the opposite side of the same road or on the right hand side as you go up said run. Said lands to be di- vided with the middle of the county road but I having advanced five hundred dollars to my son Enos on his share of my estate. I hereby require him to pay my son Bruce two hundred and fifty dollars in say two years after they get possession of the land or if he does not then Bruce is to hold five hundred dollars more of on interest in said land than Enos does. These my children Dora, Enos, and Bruce to have possession of the land in two years from my death I desire that my sons, John W. and Bruce shall re- tain the possession of my home farm and run and control the same as they have been doing and after paying expenses such as taxes and repairs said John W. Brumage to have one half the proceeds and Bruce and Dora to have one fourth each of the same I hereby appoint my son John W. Brumage the Ex- ecutor of this my last will and testament. B. F. In the Clerks office of the County Court of Marion County November 6th, 1889 A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Joseph Brumage late of this county deceased was this day produced before the under- signed Clerk in his office by John W. Brumage the Executor named in said will and offered for probate and the execution of said paper writing by the said Joseph Brumage as and for his last will and testament being proven under the oaths of Benj. F. Charlton and Charles W. Brannon the two sub- scribing witnesses thereto according to law. The said paper writing is admitted to record as and for the true last will and testament of Joseph Brumage now deceased. Teste: T. B.
