PRESLEY B. OGDEN, M. D. - is a son of William Ogden, of Marion
county, and was born in this county, April 29, 1837. His mother,
whose name before marriage was Sara McIntyre, is no longer living. In
Monongalia county, this State, August 26, 1862, Presley B. Ogden
wedded Mary E. Coombs, and three sons and one daughter have been born
to them; Howard N., April 6, 1864; Willie C., August 4, 1865;
Herschel C., January 12, 1869; Cora V., August 12, 1870. The wife of
Dr. Ogden was born in Monongalia  county, December 4, 1837, and her
mother, Elizabeth (Pindle) Coombs, is still living in that county,
her father, Philip Coombs, deceased. He was born January 22, 1785,
and his wife's birth was on the 17th of February, 1798. Dr. Presley
B. Ogden is established in practice in Fairmont.
