James Faulkner. Page 142 JOHN FRYATT SNODGRASS. Born in Berkeley county, Virginia, March 2, 1804; was a lawyer by profession, and practiced in Parkersburg, Virginia. He was a member of the Virginia Constitutional Convention, assembled at Richmond in 1850, and was a representative in Congress from 1753 until his death, which occurred while trying a case in Court in Parkersburg, June 5th, 1854. A sketch of his private, professional and political character may be seen in the Congressional Globe of the 9th of June, 1854, made by Hon. C. J.
