John Avis Zinn, born in Barbour County 1848, son of David and
Louisa Zinn, was married at Isaac Talbott's, on Hacker's Creek,
March 20, 1872, to Mary Maneta, daughter of Isaac and Martha
(Mitchell) Talbott. Children, Albert S. and Dora Belle. Mr. Zinn is
a member of the Baptist Church, an Odd Fellow, a carpenter and
painter, residing on the head of Hacker's Creek where he owns 50
acres of improved land. His ancestry was English, Irish and German.
Mrs. Zinn was born April 17, 1855.
