Children, Edna, Maggie, George Howard, Lelia, Bertha May and Sally. He is a member of the M. E. Church, an Odd Fellow, a Republican and a carpenter, residing at Philippi. He served three years in the Federal army, and his father was a volunteer for the Mexican War, but was never called into service.
