Children, Almonta Benson, George P., Golden Frank, Howard Kerr, and Robert E. He is a Methodist, an Odd Fellow and a Republican. He is post master at Belington, and proprietor of Mountain View Hotel, and was educated in the schools of Staunton and Washington College and Massay Creek Academy. From 1868 to 1872 he was Superintendent of the schools of Barbour. His paternal ancestors were Scotch-Irish; and his brother, J. S. K.
