               Milwaukee, Nov. 7. - Capt. JACOB SAVELAND,
             70, was run over and killed by a train at the
             foot of Washington street Wednesday night, but
             his body was not identified until today. He 
             was a retired lake captain and the last of
             several brothers, all of whom were widely
             known lake captains.
