MICHAEL DAILY, 82, a retired lake captain and a veteran of the Civil war, died at his home, 252 Brady st. Monday. The funeral services will be held Thursday morning in St. John's cathedral, with burial in Calvary cemetery. CAPT. DAILY became a sailor after he was discharged from the army. He retired 10 years ago. The captain was born in Ontario, Canada and came to Milwaukee when he was 5. CAPT. DAILY was a member of the E. B. Wolcott post No. 1. G. A. R.; the shipmasters' association, lodge No. 6, and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife, MARY; two sons, JAMES and JOSEPH, and a daughter, MARIE. ===========================================================================
