CAPTAIN JOHN DOAK died at his home in Ahnapee on Wednesday, and the remains were taken to Depere where the funeral occurred on yesterday. The service was held in the M. E. Church, Rev. Mr. HIMEBAUGH, the pastor, officiating. The interment was in Woodlawn cemetery, here at Green Bay. The deceased was a member of the Ahnapee Masonic Lodge and some of the brethren of that lodge accompanied the remains. The funeral was under the auspices of the Depere Masonic Lodge and the burial according to the ritual of that order. The deceased formerly lived in Depere and had many friends in the county. He had always followed sailing and was known all 'long shore. He had been afflicted with a cancer in the mouth, having suffered much; he finally died sitting in his chair. He leaves a wife and children. His mother and one brother, ROBERT DOAK, live at Depere, and a brother, CAPT. ALEX. DOAK, lives at Sturgeon Bay. ==========================================================================
