DOAK was an old sailor and at one time one of the proprietors of the Ella Doak and one of the best sailors on the lake. Whiskey got the better of him and for the past few years he has been tarring smoke-stacks for a living. Last year he fell from a stack in Oshkosh, a distance of eighty-six feet, and came out with only a broken leg. Yesterday he fell seventy feet, striking on his head on the roof of the engine house, with the result stated. He leaves a sister, Mrs. McLAUGHLIN, at Sturgeon Bay, and a brother, ALEX. DOAK, at Green Bay. - Kewaunee Dispatch ==========================================================================
