FRANK WOOD DROWNED CAPT. FRANK WOOD, of Kenosha, was one of the victims of the ill-fated schooner City of Green Bay, wrecked on the east shore of the lake two weeks ago Monday. He held the position of first mate on that craft, and only one was saved out of a crew of seven persons. CAPT. WOOD was well known at this and other ports on the peninsula, having been in command of the schooner LEWIS LUDINGTON for a number of years when that craft was owned by Bennett, Farr & Co., who at one time owned and operated the upper mill. He was a generous and whole-souled man, and the announcement of his death will be heard with sorrow by more than one person. =========================================================================== If you've reached this file through a SEARCH, you can access more of our growing collection of FREE online information by going to the following URL: http://www.us-data.org/ ===========================================================================
