              OLD LAKE CAPTAIN DEAD
              
         Kenosha, Wis., August 22 - Capt. STEPHEN A. JACKSON,
      perhaps the best known survivor of the great race of
      early lake captains, died in this city to-day, after
      a long illness. Capt. JACKSON had been ill for many
      months. He was 74 years old.
