Bar- nett, 68, retired lake captain and president of the Kenosha harbor commission since its creation a few years ago, died late Friday. Mr. Barnett received his captain's papers while in his twenties and was one of the youngest officers of that rank on the Great Lakes, serv- ing with the Pere Marquette car- ferry line. Thirty-two years ago he came here to enter the commercial fishing business. He was active in Masonry. Surviving are the widow, one son, W. S. Barnett of Kenosha, and a brother, A. F., of Grand Haven, Mich. Funeral services will be con- ducted Monday. ===========================================================================
