While adjusting the rigging of his boat, he fell overboard, and although there was a boy with him in the boat, and another boat near by to help save him, he did not come to the surface after falling in the water. HORACE was a fine promising young man, whose loss will be keenly felt by his parents, who are absent serving the country, - the father being in the 3rd Wisconsin Cavalry, and the mother in the occupation of nurse in one of the mili- tary hospitals. They have the heartfelt sympathy of all in Door county who know the family. ===========================================================================
