FITZPATRICK Veteran Lake Man Passed Away at His Home in Mentor, Ohio - Will Be Buried Here. Capt. THOMAS FITZPATRICK, a veteran lake captain, died at his home, Mentor, O., yes- terday at the ripe old age of 77 years. Capt. FITZPATRICK was born in this city and had many friends here. From 1865 to 1872 he was chief engineer of the United States revenue steamer John Sherman. He resigned to become United States local inspector of steam ves- sels at Cleveland, which position he held until 1885, when he resigned in order to de- vote all his time to his private business. He was interested in a number of lake vessels. Capt. FITZPATRICK leaves two children, JOHN C. FITZPATRICK of the Clover Leaf Steam- boat Company and Mrs. JULIUS A. CLEVELAND of Mentor, O.
