Associated Press dispatches of yesterday stated that HUGH MILLER, commander of the Anchor line of boats for over 30 years, died at his home at Ogdens- burg, Friday evening, death resulting from a ruptured blood vessel. CAPTAIN MILLER was well known in Houghton, especially among those familiar with marine affairs. His last trip with the Anchor line was on the steamer Wissachickon (sic) which was stranded at Duck Island this summer and released after considerable difficulty.
