W. SWEETLAND died suddenly at Mexico this morning at the age of seventy-one. He was for many years a lake captain. He leaves two children, FRED *. SWEETLAND of this city and HATTIE E., of Mexico. One brother survives him, Captain WILLIAM SWEETLAND of Seriba. Captain SWEETLAND at one time commanded the brig Commerce and the schooner Nightingale of Buffalo.
