                          Mrs. Sarah Witherell, 86, of
                        Ossian, died in Dansville Me-
                        morial Hospital Tuesday (Oct.
                        18, 1960) She was the widow of
                        the late William Witherell.
                        
                          Surviving are three daugh-
                        ters, Mrs. Grace Herington of
                        Dansville, Mrs. Dorothy Gill of
                        Mt. Morris and Mrs. Laura
                        Spencer of Dansville with
                        whom she had resided in recent
                        years; seven grandchildren
                        and three nephews.
