             HIMES -- In this village, June 10th, of consump-
           tion, Mrs. Sophronia D. Himes, wife of John G. L.
           Himes, aged 38 years.
             The deceased had suffered for many years from
           constitutional debility, which finally brought on
           pulmonary and bowel consumption; and after a 
           sickness of three months, attended by extraordi
           nary sufferings, which were borne with exemplary
           patience and fortitude, she at length found relief
           in death.
                   Yet again we hope to meet thee,
                       When mortality is fled,
                   Then in Paradise to greet thee,
                   Where no farewell tear is shed.
