              OBITUARY:
              
              DAVID W. COLE
              
              DAVID W. COLE, one of the veteran lake
            captains, died at the home of his brother,
            CAPT. LEWIS P. COLE, of No. 125 Church
            Street, this city, yesterday morning, at
            the age of 72 years.
              Death was caused by cancer in the stomach.
            Interment will take place at Canastota, the
            birthplace of the deceased.
