Tuesday, November 8, 1988 CHARLES B. CONRAN Charles B. "Barney" Conran, 77, husband of Mrs. Henrietta Case Conran, of Springlake Rd., Port Byron, N.Y., died Monday, November 7, 1988 at the VA Hospital in Canandaigua, N.Y. Born in Auburn, he was a life resident of the area. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Conran was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and was a former member of the Holy Name Society. He also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1975. Mr. Conran retired in 1973 from the former Cole - Hinds Chevrolet where he was employed as a mechanic for 12 years. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Ina Mae Flannigan of Auburn, Miss Marie Conran of Port Byron and Mrs. Peggy Derby of Auburn; one son, Lt. Richard L. Conran of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Stanton of Orange Grove, Fla.; a half-sister, Sister Mary Regina of the Fran- ciscan Order in Williamsville, N.Y., three half-brothers, Joseph Conran of Williamsville, Thomas Conran of Buffalo and Danny Conran of North Carolina. Family prayers will be offered Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Langham Funeral Home, 91 East Genesee Street. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Rev. Edward Zimmer, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming. Visitation hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. ===========================================================================
