A. Witherell Celebrate 62nd Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Witherell of the Promised Land road observed their sixty-second wedding anniver- sary on Thursday. Dinner was serv- ed at the cabin of their son, James at Steam Valley, followed by a social time. Among those present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Burdick, Corning; Mrs. David Sig- worth, Corning; and Mr. and Mrs. James Culley of Geneseo; Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Tyler, Olean. Mr. and Mrs. Witherell were mar- ried on July 4, 1895, at the Olean House. They resided at Endeavor and Oil City and have lived in their home on the Promised Land road for the past thirty-eight years. They were the parents of five children; Mrs. Florence Culley, Geneseo; Mrs. Agnes Burdick, Corning; Mrs. Dorothy Pettingill, Scranton; and James Witherell at home. Another son, William, passed away four years ago. They also have seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Both Mr. and Mrs. Witherell are in quite good health, and are very interested in the affairs of the day. Mr. Witherell is very active in all Masonic activities. ===========================================================================
