Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon for CAPT. EDMUND FAY, 925 Brooklyn avenue, who died Friday from compli- cations of the grip. Interment will occur at Royal Oak cemetery. Both CAPTAIN FAY and his wife, Mrs. ELIZA- BETH FAY, who died two weeks ago, suffered attacks of the grip about the same time and the former's death is thought to have been hastened by the announcement that his wife had passed away. CAPTAIN FAY was born at Troy, August 23, 1833, and had lived for 50 years in this city. For 30 years he was owner and master of the sailing schooner St. Joe. Later he was in the coal business, being proprietor of the EDMUND FAY Coal company and vice-president of the Diamond Coal & Coke company at the time of his death. The immediate survivors are the following children: JOHN C., HARRY, EDMUND Junior, MABEL, CHARLES H., and HERBERT C. FAY, all of Detroit. =========================================================================== If you've reached this file through a SEARCH, you can access more of our growing collection of FREE online information by going to the following URL: http://www.us-data.org/ ===========================================================================
