WILLIAM WANKLIN died in Yale, Saturday evening, November 17th, 1894, at the age of 27 years, 10 months and 12 days. LOVINNA CRESSMAN was born January 5, 1864; married to WILLIAM WANKLIN, September 11, 1883. A loving husband, four children and a host of friends are left to mourn her untimely departure. Deceased was a member of the river Brethren at the time of her marriage but drifted back as too many do in time of temptations. Before her death she was aroused by her maker to the sense of duty and found reconciliation, wishing to return to the church again. The funeral was held on Tuesday from the M. P. church to Elmwood cemetery, where her remains were laid to rest. The services were conducted by S. DONER and W. HALLMAN. Dis- course taken from Rev. 14, 13. Death of a Mother I leave you in God's care below, My husband and children, too; Now try to serve your Saviour here, And travel through this vale with fear, That when you leave this world below Christ to you may mercy show And to His Kingdom take you in No more to be defiled by sin. MR. WANKIN desires to thank all who so kindly assisted him during the sickness and after the death of his wife. ===========================================================================
