Monday, January 9, 1911

               
                ALFRED BRACE, aged 57 years, died at the
              home of his sister, MRS. LLEWELLYN ESAU,
              1721 Pine Grove avenue, this morning. The
              funeral will be held from the residence
              Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock under
              the auspices of the Salvation Army. ELIJAH
              BRACE, a brother of the deceased, is also
              critically ill, having been confined to 
              his bed for the past eight months. The
              two brothers conducted a grocery store on
              Pine Grove avenue for some time.
              
              
                CHARLES TOMPKINS, a well known farmer
              of Wales township, died at his home Satur-
              day night. MR. TOMPKINS was well known in
              Port Huron.
