In a little house in Wales township without food or fuel, farmers yesterday found aged JOSEPH PARRISH, dead upon the floor. He had not been seen for many days so the neighbors investigated. He was 80 years old and feeble. The body was lying beside a meagerly covered bed. Coroner ALBERT FALK thinks the old man rolled out of the bed and froze to death. As far as is known he had no near relatives. PARRISH was a proud old gentleman and when he was taken to the poor farm last spring, his heart was broken. Late in the summer he ran away and returned to his little hut in Wales township. Neighbors promised to aid him and gave him many odd jobs so the author- ities let him remain among his friends. ========================================================================== If you've reached this file through a SEARCH, you can access more of our growing collection of FREE online information by going to the following URL: http://www.us-data.org/ ==========================================================================
