Frank L. Meno, 69, veteran Great Lakes seaman, and his wife, Leila, 66, were found dead Wednesday of gas asphyxiation in their home. Coroner Arthur E. Smith said an underground main had broken out- side the house and gas had seeped in through the basement. A native of White Rock, Mich., Capt. Meno was widely known on the Great Lakes. He had been sail- ing since he was 16. At 21 he had his own ship. Two sons also sail the lakes. Har- low B. is captain of the Frankfurt Ferry Lines.
