  JOHN S. KIMBALL, of the township of Kim-
ball, St. Clair County, and after whom that
town was named, died on the 21th Instant at
Romeo where he was temporarily stopping.
Death was caused by his accidently falling
into an open cellar and he survived the
injury but a few hours.  He was over 70
years of age.
