HOGAN were held from his residence on Lapeer avenue Tuesday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. COOPER, of Detroit, who was formerly the pastor of the First Baptist church of this city and a devouted friend of MR. HOGAN. GEORGE MacCOMB sung a number of selections. The floral offerings were many and magnificent. As MR. HOGAN was one of the best known marine engin- eers on the great lakes, and as evidence of the high esteem in which he was held, four prominent marine engineers carried the remains to the hearse that con- veyed his body to the last resting place. The follow- ing men acted as pall-bearers: G. C. MEISEL, EDWARD WAGENSELL, WALTER THORNE and O. W. STROUT. The re- mains were taken to Lakeside cemetery for burial. ========================================================================== If you've reached this file through a SEARCH, you can access more of our growing collection of FREE online information by going to the following URL: http://www.us-data.org/ ==========================================================================
