He immediately stepped across to it, and seeing that the men were roughs and were insulting the ladies in the car, said to the other conductor that they should be made to keep quiet, or be put out of the car. MR. WRIGHT is a powerful man, and he showed by his actions that he did not intend to be trifled with, the roughs ceased their disturbance and soon after left the car. Conductor WRIGHT proceeded to Fort Gratiot with his car, and as he was returning along the park front, the four men jumped on to the platform of the car and threatened him with violence. Without stopping to argue the question with them at any great length he shoved one man off on one side, another on the other side, and drawing his revolver warned the other two that their good health required their immediate absence from that locality. They saw the point and traveled without further ceremony, leaving MR. WRIGHT master of the situation. We learn that they afterward came on board the car on Butler street, and proposed to put the conductor off, when a well directed blow from MR. WRIGHT'S fist sent "Texas Jack" sprawling, and an exhibition of the revolver induced the others to retreat to the side- walk, scolding and threatening vengeance. We did not learn the names of the parties engaged in this affair, but they are said to be lawless and reckless fellows. Their case evidently needs attention from the officers. ===========================================================================
