                          Hermit Removed to Poor House
                          
                    Port Huron, Mich., Feb. 25 - Suffering
                  from disease, ARCHIMEDES GALBRAITH, the aged
                  lawyer-hermit, has been removed from his lit-
                  tle dug-out on the town line in Burtchville
                  township to the St. Clair county poor house.
                  His legs swollen to twice their natural size
                  and at times acting in a manner not unlike a
                  mad dog, the aged recluse had, up to this
                  time, refused to accept any assistance. He
                  continually refused admittance to people who
                  visited his place with food and medicine.
