Mr. Lambert, pastor of the Ross Memorial Church, officiated at a beautiful home wedding on Wednesday afternoon, when Miss EMMA OLSSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. CHARLES OLSSON, of 1417 Carleton street, was united in marriage to Captain MARTIN JOHNSON of this city. The wedding service was ready promptly at four o'clock when the members of the bridal party took their places in the parlor, which was made attractive by a profusion of beautiful flowers and smilax. The guests included about forty relatives and immediate friends of the bride and groom. The bride's gown was of white hand kerchief muslin, handsomely trimmed with lace. She carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses. The bridesmaid, Miss MYRTLE OWEN, of Saginaw, wore a beautiful gown of a very pale shade of blue silk and carried white carnations. The grown (sic) was attended by his brother, CHRIS JOHNSON. The decorations throughout the entire house were in pink and white. The bride's table, at which covers were laid for twelve, had for it's centerpiece the bride's cake surrounded at the base with smilax and pink and white roses. Lighted candles at each end made the table brilliant. Another long table was filled with guests, and its decorations were a large clus- ter of carnations and smilax for a centerpiece and candles. Miss WAYNER catered. The bride was the recipient of many handsome gifts, including cut glass, Haviland china, furniture, silverware and linen. Mr. and Mrs. JOHNSON left on the evening train for a ten days' trip to Chicago and other points, and will make their home with the bride's parents upon their return. The bride has been a popular clerk in the Meisel, Hogan & Eichhorn store at the ribbon and fancy work counter for several years. She was a great favorite and several pre-nuptial affairs were given in her honor. The groom is a captain on the great lakes, having been master of the Corrigan during the past season. Out-of-town guests at the wedding were Mrs. JOHN OWEN and daughter, MYRTLE, of Saginaw; Mr. and Mrs. MILLER and OSCAR and LYMAN OLSSON, of Detroit. ==========================================================================
