                           Assaults His Wife
                           
                   CHARLES FURTAW, who was arrested
                 at Marine City by Deputy Sheriff
                 MOORE, was fined $25 or 30 days in
                 the county jail by Judge CLAIR R.
                 BLACK. FURTAW was charged with as-
                 saulting and beating his wife.
