T. Andreas & Co., Chicago - 1883 [575] P. F. HUSHIN, engineer SANBORN'S elevator, was born in Wales March 14, 1846. His parents came to Canada in 1853, and he entered the employ of the railroad company in 1858, and was engaged in rail- roading in different capacities for eighteen years. He was both engineer and conductor on the Grand Trunk Railroad. He came to Port Huron in 1875, and had charge at night of the shops of the Port Huron & Lake Michigan Railroad. In 1877, he came to SANBORN'S elevator and set up the engine, and since then has held the position of engineer. In 1867, he married Miss ELIZABETH STRANGE, of Berlin, Ontario, Canada. They have four children - MAGGIE, FANNIE, FRANK and ROBERT. ===========================================================================
