T. Andreas & Co., Chicago - 1883 [574-575] J. C. HOCK, proprietor HOCK'S Bakery, corner Butler and Fort street, is a native of Germany and was born November 20, 1820. He grew up, and learned his trade there; emigrated to the United States in 1860, and came to Port Huron the following year and started a bakery, and since then for the past twenty years has carried on the business here. In 1854, he married Miss MARY O'NEIL, a native of Ireland. They have four children - JOHN, ELIZABETH, ROSA, JOHANNA. ===========================================================================
