        LIZZIE GAHAN, proprietor Exchange Hotel, corner Butler and Merchant
     streets, is a native of Ireland, and came to Port Huron in 1869, and
     the following year took charge of the hotel; and since then for the
     past twelve years she has successfully carried on the business in the
     same location.
