T. Andreas & Co., Chicago - 1883 [571] LOREN B. FORESTER, proprietor "Pony Mill," is a native of Canada, and was born in the county of Dundas July 23, 1826. His parents re- moved to St. Lawrence County, N.Y., in 1831. He returned to Canada in 1838 and remembers being within hearing of the battle of the Windmill. Came to this county in 1849 and engaged in mill building, and two years later engaged in milling, and since then for a period of thirty years has been engaged in milling and mill building, and is the oldest in the business in this city and county. Mr. FORESTER married Miss CHRISTINA ATKINS, a native of Lanarkshire, Scotland, October 20, 1853. They have four children - JESSIE, FANNIE, JOHN C., GEORGE L.; lost one daughter, MINNIE. ===========================================================================
