        THOMAS FISH, of the firm of GEORGE FISH & Son, dealers in pro-
     visions, groceries and sporting goods, is a son of GEORGE FISH, one of
     the earliest settlers of Port Huron.  Thomas was born in this county
     November 16, 1854.  He grew up and attended school here.  They esta-
     blished their present business in 1879, and have built up a large
     trade.  He is connected with the State militia, being a member of the
     Port Huron Guards.
