A. T. Andreas & Co., Chicago - 1883 [564] E. C. CHAMBERLIN, cashier and accountant of the P. H.& N. W. R. R., is a native of Dutchess County, N.Y., and was born March 22, 1840. He grew up and attended school there, and came West in the fall of 1867. After being here a short time, he returned to New York, and remained until 1870, when he came to Port Huron, and was connected with the lumber business until January 1, 1879, when he was appointed to his present position. In 1861, Mr. CHAMBERLIN married Miss MARY K. THOMPSON, of Dutchess County, N.Y. She died in 1875, leaving one daughter, MAGGIE T. In 1877, he married Miss LOUISE M.
