A. T. Andreas & Co., Chicago - 1883 [562] JAMES W. CAMPBELL, farmer, Section 5, P.O. Port Huron, was born in Lower Canada July 12, 1818. He came to Michigan in 1845 and settled in Port Huron. He bought the land where he now lives in 1849, and since then, for the past thirty-three years, has resided here and engaged in farming, and owns a farm of eighty acres, and is the oldest settler on the plank road. He has held school offices. He married Miss MARY J. SCHEGAL, a native of Canada, September 7, 1845.
