BOICE, dealer in fancy dry goods and notions, is a son of WELLINGTON BOICE, and was born in St. Clair County, July 28, 1853; he grew up and attended school there, then took commercial course in city of Detroit, and was afterward in the office of the Daily Union of that city, for a year and a half; came to Port Huron in 1874, and was clerk for N. P. CHANDLER, two years; then went with BONDY & JOHNSTON and remained with this firm five years. He established his present business in March, 1882, and is build- ing up a nice trade. Mr. BOICE was united in marriage November 15, 1878, to Miss CARRIE E. WERDEN, a native of St. Clair County, and daughter of WILLIAM WERDEN, Esq., of the town of Kimball. ===========================================================================
