A. T. Andreas & Co., Chicago - 1883 [Page 557] H. G. BARNUM, Cashier First National Bank; is a native of New York State; was born in Onondaga County, October 4, 1844. His parents came to Michigan in 1852, and he grew up and re- ceived his education in this State. Came to Port Huron in 1865, and entered the bank of JOHN JOHNSTON & Co. In 1874, he became assistant cashier of the First National Bank, and in September, 1876, he was elected cashier, and since then, for the past six years, has held that position. ===========================================================================
